Jisha Sangeetha Nritya Kala Academy has been recently approved as being a registered Arts Award centre, and Jisha is a qualified Arts Award adviser for Trinity College London. The awarding body responsible for Arts Award qualification is Trinity College London.
With the aim to deepen the knowledge of dance and music and build leadership, creativity and communication skills, the programme assists young people to work independently helping them to prepare for further education and employment. Through Arts Award, the academy is able to support young learners who wants to deepen their arts and gain Performing Arts qualification through the mode of Indian classical dance, Bollywood dance or Carnatic music.
Arts Award is a national qualification awarded by Trinity College London and involves:
- 5 levels- Discover, Explorer, Bronze, Silver and Gold
- Planning and organising a project
- Gold is a Level 3 qualification in Performing Arts which when completed provides UCAS points for University entrances.
